Environment
The Environment Management System used by Indiana is in accordance with the ISO 14001 standard with defined responsibilities and supported by work instructions.Compliance with the EMS is ensured by third party auditing. Environment performance is developed according to the continuous process improvement principles.
Identifying energy as key natural resources, Indiana has taken initiative at manufacturing locations to reduce the consumption of energy and promote the use of renewable energy. Indiana also has made investments in wind power generation and owns six wind mills of 0.8 MW each procured from Enercon.
Indiana has also undertaken several initiatives towards environment care like: installed paper cutting machine for generation of packing papers from printed paper, use of both side printing, use of refilled printer cartridge and other initiatives. |
