Purpose of this Role:
The ideal candidate who can lead & manage Purchase functions effectively in sourcing, procuring and Inventory Management.

Job description:
Ensuring compliance of good procurement practices.
Maximize benefits accumulate to the group.
Reduce lead time in delivery.
Negotiate contracts with large-scale suppliers to gain appropriate savings and service levels.
Manages contracts for products with fluctuating as well as stable prices.
Ensure delivery as per specified standards/specification.
Determine procurement strategy to control quality, quantity and prices issues.
Data management, MIS & Tally.

Exposure to the procurement of MS/SS Rolled Sections, Flats, Plates, Coils, Paints & Consumables.
Team Handling
Vendor Management
Product Pricing Calculation
Assigns duties and examines work for exactness and conformance to policies and procedures.
Studies and standardizes procedures to improve the efficiency of subordinates.
Enabler and facilitator for the team.

Competencies: Planning & Organizing, Commercial Awareness, and Time & Resource Management.

Job Features

Experience6-9 years of experience in Heavy Steel Structural Fabrication / Engineering.
EducationB.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
