Job Location – Mumbai

Purpose of this Role: Manage purchase for all Business units to efficiently and cost effectively support organizational operations.

Key Deliverables

1. Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure that all items are purchased and delivered within budget and time constraints.
2. Improve existing purchase policies, procedures, and best practices.
3. Introduction of new vendors and suppliers and their updation in database.
4. Develop, negotiate and administer purchase agreements and contracts with suppliers in line with organization requirement and ensure compliance.
5. Review technical specifications for raw materials, components etc. and forecast upcoming demand of materials.
6. Conduct an annual vendor evaluation to ensure that performance standards are maintained.
7. Oversee the overall functioning of the purchase department.

The candidate should preferably be from Steel, fabrication, or related industry.
