Roles and Responsibilities
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project budget.
Monitors and controls project work Measures project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, such as Earned Value Analysis (EVA), in order to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders.
Conducts kick-off meeting Conducts a kick-off meeting with all key stakeholders in order to announce the start of the project and review the overall project plan and gain consensus.
Ensure that projects are formally closed and that end of project and lessons learned reviews are completed in order to ensure that lessons learned are captured and passed to the relevant forum for action.
Pro actively identifies risks and issues on projects – Leads team to develop risk management and issues management plans to select and implement the most appropriate solution.
Utilize the Project Delivery Process to develop schedule to ensure timely completion of project.
Oversees that project closure is performed properly and timely for all projects in the portfolio.
