We are pleased to present to you our inaugural Sustainability Report, marking a significant milestone in Indiana Gratings’ journey towards more sustainable manufacturing practices. This report signals the beginning of a new chapter in our operations—one defined by a deeper focus on innovation, sustainability, and responsible business conduct.

At Indiana Gratings Private Limited, we are committed to continuously improving our processes, products, and overall performance to ensure that our growth creates lasting value for our stakeholders and the communities we serve.

Reflecting on our journey since 1970, the Indiana Group has grown into a diversified leader in structural steel fabrication, supporting critical infrastructure sectors such as power, petrochemicals, refineries, and transportation. Our robust annual production capacities—36,000 metric tons of fabricated steel structures, 12,000 metric tons of steel bridges, and 75,000 metric tons of gratings—stand as a testament to our engineering excellence and dedication to nation-building.

In 2024, we initiated our first comprehensive Greenhouse Gas (GHG) inventory, laying the groundwork for a more structured approach to environmental management and emissions tracking. This foundational step reflects our intention to better understand and manage our environmental footprint. It will serve as a critical input in shaping our future sustainability goals and strategies.

Our commitment extends beyond compliance. We aim to embed sustainability across our business—through efficient resource use, enhanced workplace safety, ethical governance, and efforts to positively engage with our local communities.

Importantly, Indiana Gratings has already demonstrated its commitment through the integration of renewable energy into its operations. Out of our five manufacturing units, three are already powered by solar energy, and we are actively working to extend this transition to our remaining facilities. This report is the first of many steps in our long-term journey, and we are excited to share our progress with you.
