Indiana manufactures custom designed sweep type automatic sampler to dig into bulk solid stream to collect solid sample from the flow of bulk solid material.

Our custom designed Sweep Samplers are compact with a modular design and are installed between two existing conveyor idlers and bolts directly to the conveyor frame.

The sampler unit is in the form of a cone with scoop tube. During the first part of unit rotation, the scoop tube digs into the material stream for collecting the material. Scoop tube then drops the material into the cone during the second part of the cycle. Chute at the periphery of the cone receives the material and discharges into the box.

The Sweep Sampler cutter assembly is coupled and powered through the stream of material on the conveyor belt, utilizing an electro-mechanical drive assembly. The electro-mechanical drive includes a geared electric motor and a chain sprocket.
